Iowa School Radon Testing
A documented testing workflow for Iowa public schools preparing for the July 1, 2027 deadline and five-year testing cycle.
State deadline
Each public-school attendance center must be tested at least once by July 1, 2027 and at least every five years thereafter.
Elevated spaces
A short-term result at or above 4 pCi/L requires a second short-term test in the affected spaces within 60 days. If testing indicates levels above 4 pCi/L, the district must employ an Iowa credentialed mitigation specialist to develop a mitigation plan.
Project administration
RadonStead can quote by floor plan/device count and organize placement maps, device logs, QA/QC, retesting, final reports and a future five-year reminder schedule.
Professional testing without unnecessary friction.
Every audience receives the same core measurement discipline, but scheduling, documentation and communication are tailored to the property type.
